Annual reports
In our annual reports, we look back on the past few years. What were the highlights, which fundraising campaigns and events were organized, what they generated, and which projects were funded with them? You'll find the answers to these questions and more in the annual reports.
Strategic Multi-Year Policy
In the Strategic Multi-Year Policy Plan, we show what the Ambulance Wish Foundation plans to do in the coming years.
ANBI status
The Ambulance Wish Foundation is a Public Benefit Organization (PBO). This means we dedicate 90% of our efforts to the public interest, are not-for-profit, and comply with integrity requirements. Our ANBI status can also provide tax benefits for our donors. Want to learn more?

Remuneration policy
For the management, Stichting Ambulance Wens follows the remuneration scheme of Goede Doelen Nederland for directors, which has been in effect since 2005.
For employees, Stichting Ambulance Wens follows the salary scales of the collective labor agreement for VVT (Care, Nursing, Home Care and Youth Health Care)
Integrity at the Ambulance Wish Foundation
The Ambulance Wish Foundation is deeply rooted in society and is aware of its social responsibility. Everyone involved with us, from volunteers and staff to donors, partners, and board members, must be able to rely on an honest, transparent, and safe organization.
We have therefore developed an integrity policy that aligns with the standards of the CBF and Goede Doelen Nederland (Dutch Charities). This policy helps us promote ethical conduct, prevent integrity violations, and enable us to report misconduct safely and confidentially.
What do we mean by an integrity violation?
We speak of a violation when someone fails to adhere to the law, our norms and values, or the moral compass we uphold. Consider, for example:
- Abuse of power or conflict of interest
- Financial misconduct, such as fraud or theft
- Unacceptable behavior, such as discrimination, bullying or (sexual) harassment
- Careless use of confidential information or resources
Reporting an integrity violation
Do you suspect a violation or are you in a situation where you have doubts? You can always contact our internal reporting point via integrity@ambulancewens.nl
We handle reports strictly confidentially. If necessary, we will investigate the situation further. Where possible, reports are anonymized and processed in our annual report.
If the report or complaint concerns the director or the operational manager, it can also be reported to the internal reporting point: integrity@ambulancewens.nl
Want to know more?
Our integrity policy outlines our code of conduct, reporting procedure, and explains how we handle integrity issues. This policy is part of the induction process for new volunteers and employees and is evaluated annually.
Complaints and suggestions
Thanks to our donors, volunteers, partners, and other stakeholders, we can fulfill wishes every day. We believe it's important to maintain good communication with everyone involved. We do everything we can to carry out our work with integrity, transparency, and care. However, sometimes things don't go as planned, and we want to hear about that.
Not satisfied? Let us know.
Did your contact with the Ambulance Wish Foundation go differently than you'd hoped? Do you have a complaint about our procedures or communication? Let us know. We take complaints and suggestions for improvement seriously and always look for ways to learn from them.
What do we mean by a complaint?
A complaint is any expression of dissatisfaction, verbal or written, from a concerned party (such as a patient, loved one, volunteer, or partner organization) regarding the policy or performance of the activities of the Ambulance Wish Foundation. We do not handle anonymous complaints.
How can you file a complaint?
You can submit your complaint to us in the following ways:
- By email: via complaints@ambulancewens.nl
- By mail: Ambulance Wish Foundation, Ambachtsweg 8a, 3161 GL Rhoon
- Via the complaint form on our website
Describe your complaint as clearly as possible. Also indicate, if applicable, what you expect from us or what would be a suitable solution for you. We aim to provide a substantive response to your complaint within 10 business days. If this is not possible, we will, of course, keep you informed.
Confidentiality and registration
We handle complaints confidentially. They are recorded in a way that protects your privacy. All complaints are recorded internally and included in our annual review.
